Everything that happens in your life happens for a reason. The people, events, and circumstances around you are there because you attracted them. It all has to do with cause and effect. Everything that you give out comes back to you. This means that you have the power to create the life that you have always dreamed of. Each action that you take begins as a thought. Your thoughts are determined by your feelings and emotions.

In order to use your mind secrets in a way that works in your favor, you must pay close attention to your thoughts. Be aware of every thought that you have at every moment. If you notice a negative thought entering your mind, replace it with a positive thought. If you allow yourself to be consumed with negative thoughts, then you will find it hard to be successful. Think about experiences in your life that bring you joy. This should make it easier for you to stay in a positive mindset. This is very important because your thoughts set the stage for your emotions.

Emotions are the power behind mind secrets because they determine the energy that you will give off. Your energy is what attracts certain people, experiences and circumstances into your life. If you are feeling happy and grateful, then you will attract more things to be happy and grateful about in your life. This is why it is so important to stay positive most of the time. Being happy every now and then won't be enough to give you the consistent results that will allow you to manifest your desires.
Understand the power f your subconscious. This is one of the most under estimated mind secrets. Your subconscious is where all of your hidden true feelings about yourself reside. This is where any deep doubts and insecurities are kept. Many people are not in touch with their subconscious feelings. As a result, they sabotage themselves. Of course, they aren't aware that they are causing their own misery. On the surface, in their conscious minds, they may honestly believe that they are doing everything in their power to be successful.
The only way to stop causing yourself misery, at a subconscious level, is to learn how to tap into this area of your mind and re-program your thinking. This can be accomplished through guided meditation .

Create the Life You Desire using Subconscious Mind Power

Your subconscious mind power can help you get everything you've always wanted. In order for this to happen, you must learn how to effectively use this powerful force. Every experience that you have, every relationship that you encounter, and the amount of money that you have, are all the result of the work of your subconscious. In other words, you are the creator of your own destiny.
If you are not getting the results you desire out of life, it's only because you are focusing on what you don't want. Anything that you put your attention and energy towards will grow. This type of thing is the cause of unhappiness for many people. They spend their lives trying to prevent certain things from happening. They spend so much time and energy thinking about and picturing worst case scenarios. As a result, they find themselves attracting circumstances and people into their lives that only make them miserable. The subconscious mind power is always at work in our lives whether we like it or not, and whether we believe it or not.
Your core beliefs are what shape your destiny. Your subconscious mind will do what ever it takes to turn your core beliefs into reality. This is true whether your core beliefs are good for you or not. Most people would never willingly or knowingly sabotage themselves. What often happens is that people will know exactly what they want in life. And they believe that they are doing everything they can to create a fulfilling life. The problem is that they have fears that are deeply rooted in their subconscious mind. Since these fears reside in the subconscious, they are not consciously aware of them. And so the subconscious mind will cause them to create very situations that they were afraid would happen.
Your subconscious mind power can work for you, or it can work against you. The only way to change the circumstances in your life is to learn how to tap into your subconscious mind and re-program your self limiting thoughts. This is done through daily meditation. Regular meditation will help you control your thoughts. Change your thoughts, and you will change your life.

Turn Life's Uncertainties into a Positive Mindful Meditation

When times are challenging, it's important to practice mindful meditation. Mindful meditation involves being aware of your thoughts. The tendency is to think of meditation as something that has to be done when a person is alone in a quiet room. While quieting the mind is very important to spiritual growth, meditation does not have to have limitations. Meditation can take place any time and anywhere. In fact, the more you meditate, the better you will feel.

Mindful meditation is extremely important these days, given the current economic situation that this nation is facing. All of this talk about the rising rate of job losses, foreclosures, and plummeting stocks is enough to get anyone down. If you focus your attention on what is going wrong, you will feel stress and anxiety. You will start worrying about the "what ifs". Eventually, you will find yourself in a constant state of panic even when things are going well for you, because you will be in the habit of allowing your circumstances to control your emotional well being. But it doesn't have to be that way. You can create a state of bliss for yourself that will last regardless of what is going on in the world.

The best way to break this pattern is to pay close attention to your thoughts at all times. Focus on the blessings in your life. Even if you are broke and jobless, there are still blessings around you. Think about your family. If you and the people you love are healthy, celebrate that. If you are barely able to pay your mortgage, rejoice in the fact that you have a house. Many people don't. If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts, replace them with positive ones. Get into the habit of being grateful for what you have. This will bring forth that part of your higher self that is always in a state of bliss. The inner peace is always there inside of all of us. It's just that sometimes it gets lost in all of the distractions that we call life. If you regularly practice mindful meditation and focus on the good in your life, you will attract more things to be grateful. The world and all of its unpredictability will then lose its hold over you, because you will be happy no matter what happens. The irony of it all is that as you embrace your life as it is, then all of the things that you spent so much time chasing after and trying to acquire will start chasing you.

Spirituality in the Supermarket

The supermarket has become a spiritual place for me lately. Actually, I consider every encounter or experience to be spiritual in nature. Money has been very tight for me for the last several months and we've had to rely heavily on my husband's income. My income has been very sporadic lately so my husband has had to foot the bill for almost everything including the groceries. I've been working very hard lately to get more work and I've been spiritually aligning myself with positive vibrations to open the pathway for more abundance in my life. It's working. I now have more money coming in and I recently went to the supermarket for the first time in months. I'm talking about me footing the bill here. The significance of this didn't really hit me until I went home and my husband asked me how it felt to be able to go to the grocery store and buy something. At that moment, I could feel my gratitude at having the money to be able to shop for food. Getting groceries is a task that can easily become routine and can be taken for granted. But if you aren't able to do this for a while, you realize that it is truly a blessing. Take time out of each day and reflect on the blessings that you already have in your life and you will attract more.

Release and Allow

I've read so many times about how clutter can weigh us down and block abundance from flowing into our lives. I've experienced this so many times. Yet I am always in awe of this spiritual principle every time I release the "dead weight" from my life. I've spent the last few days throwing away old papers and other things that are basically just taking up space. Every time I do this, extra money comes my way and it's usually from an unexpected source. I just love the creativity of the universe! As I was shredding papers and throwing things away, I knew that I was clearing the way for abundance. A day later, my husband and I received a nice sized (unexpected) check in the mail from our bank, with a letter explaining that we had a surplus in our escrow account. This has never happened before. Of course, learning to release and allow is not only about money. The best part the way it makes you feel because you are actually freeing yourself to allow the spiritual flow of love, joy and yes even money to come into your life. Nothing is forced. Instead you are making room in your life to have more and to be more. Get rid of your physical and emotional clutter and you'll be amazed at what good things come your way.

Why The Law of Attraction Seems to Only Work for Some People

At one time or another, we've all looked at super successful people and wondered why their lives seem to just fall into place so smoothly. It seems as though that they know something that everyone else doesn’t. Then the movie "The Secret" was released. At last, a formula which offered an explanation. It was based on The Law of Attraction. It works like this: think about the people, situations, and circumstances that you want in your life and you will attract them. Don't focus on what you don't want. Sounds simple, right? Yet, still after "The Secret" became widely popular, many people were still left scratching their heads wondering why nothing changed in their lives. It's not that The Law of Attraction doesn't work. It's just that thinking about something is not enough to draw it to you. You have to BELIEVE in what you are thinking, and feel as though it has already happened. That's where the real power resides. The feeling behind your thoughts is what the universe responds to. Remember, change comes from the inside out. Go to that place within yourself and experience the life you desire. Then take action. You'll be amazed at what comes your way

Go Where Your Spirit Flows

Most of have heard of the saying "go with the flow." Yet few of us practice this in our daily lives. We spend most of our lives chasing our dreams and trying to force things to happen that just weren't meant to be. This leads to suffering. If we would just take a few minutes each day to quiet our minds through meditation, then we would be more aware of where our spirit is guiding us. We all possess within us the true knowledge of how to allow our life to flow instead of getting caught up in "doing."

One way to do this is to just look at animals and small children. They intuitively see life as a joyful expression of just being. This is an awareness that we are all born with it. Unfortunately, we gradually lose sight of this as we get older and we make life more complicated by shifting our attention to the expectations of society and then we burden ourselves by equating our worth things like the amount of money we make, the size of our home, the kind of car we drive and so on. None of this matters spiritually speaking. Yet we stress and strain ourselves to achieve to proves to ourselves and others that we matter.

Again we can return to our natural state of being by observing animals and small children, especially babies. Their minds are pure. Their happiness doesn’t depend on any event or circumstance. They are joyful for just being. I have a beautiful four month daughter. Sometimes she will wake up around two in the morning kicking and gurgling with such joy. It absolutely amazes me. There she is in the crib in the dark enjoying herself with a sense of inner happiness that is not dependent on anything or anyone. We all have a place of peace and joy within our inner core. The problem is we are not always aware of it because of all the constant noise and chatter of our daily lives. That’s why it’s so important to observe nature and small children and meditate.

Why Challenges Are An Opportunity For Spiritual Growth

Every life comes with “problems” but if we take a closer look, we’ll find that they always bring gifts and blessings. In fact, our so called problems are only problems because that’s what we’ve labeled them. If you take a look back at your life, you’ll see your most trying times brought your greatest lessons. They offer the most profound learning experiences. You might ask yourself “Why couldn’t I have learned this particular lesson without having to go through so much pain?” Perhaps, it would be a lot easier if we could just learn without facing challenges but sometimes we just don’t “get it” until we are forced to really take an honest look at the situation. Our pain forces us to learn because it’s only when a situation feels unbearable that the real soul searching begins and we find true meaning in the circumstance and begin to function at a higher level. The lessons learned from a painful experience allow us to function with greater awareness and clarity of vision. This allows us to know ourselves better. So often, we spend so much time blaming our unhappiness on others or our circumstances. However, when we are in the midst of a crisis, we are forced to drop all of the unhealthy shields that we unconsciously use to protect ourselves. The only way to get through it is to look within. This is where the answers and true freedom are. Pain forces us to give up the need to blame and it forces us to see our own personal power, that we are the ones who are truly in control of our lives. So the next time you are facing a situation that seems extremely painful, whether it’s a relationship, financial problems or inner conflict, just remember it’s an opportunity for tremendous growth. Once you get through it with lessons learned, you’ll look back on the experience with gratitude. One of the laws of the universe is the Law of Polarity, which basically says that everything has an opposite. So if a situation can be seen as very “bad” then there must be something “good” about it. Good and bad are two sides of the same coin. One can’t exist without the other and since we attract what we feel, it’s best to look for the good in all things.

Transformation Through The Law of Attraction

I've had many positive and amazing experiences using the Law of Attraction. So far, my most profound experiences have been applying universal laws in dealing with my son's autism diagnosis.
The video on the previous post was made during the summer of 2007. In that video, I describe what it was like for me when I started noticing how different my son was from other children. His challenges started at around age three and I discussed how he was having problems in school from pre-school all the way until he was in the fifth grade.

Below is the new video I've just completed which offers an update on his progress and how he's handling the first half of sixth grade.

As I mentioned in the video, using the Law of Attraction is a process and I'm still studying and learning. I'm still having my son visualize and meditate. Meditation has been a very powerful component in his (and my) growth since it stimulates whole brain thinking where the left and right hemispheres of the brain work in sync. Usually either the left side or right side is dominant at any given time but people who regularly meditate have more brain synchronization. This has increased my son's awareness tremendously and he now thinks before he acts. He couldn't do this before. Meditation also has a lasting calming effect. The combination of the Law of Attraction and meditation is a very powerful and I highly recommend it to anyone who is facing any type of adversity.

Heal The Pain of Autism Using The Law of Attraction

I have been studying the Law of Attraction for quite some time now. This universal law can be used to bring money, happiness, people and a sense of well being into your life. I've used it most recently to over come my despair when my child was diagnosed with autism. I spent years trying to find out what was going on with my child and for a long time, no one could tell me what was wrong. I made the following video in which I explain my journey in hopes of helping other parents facing similar challenges.

Create Abundance Using The Law of Attraction

In the following video, Rev. You make one or more short films stating your goals and view them twice or more daily. It's recommended that you watch them first thing in the morning and right before you go to bed for the best results. This puts your desires into your subconscious. The idea is that once it's in your subconscious, you are in a mindset to make those goals a reality. Mind Movies also allows you to join their affiliate program and you can earn money every time someone you referred becomes a member. In reality, all we have is now. The past can't be changed and we can't take action in the future before it gets here. The only time that we can live and take action is in the present. The eternal now is all we ever have and it's the only time we live. Honoring the now means enjoying life.Below is a link to a blog that beautifully illustrates this point.

http://the-middleway.zaadz.com/blog/2007/5/living_in_the_moment

Spirit Always Knows

Whenever we are looking for inspiration or advice on which direction to go, there is a part of us, our higher self, that always knows exactly what to do. The problem is this all knowing part of ourselves is often tuned out by the chatter of a busy mind or the filters through which we interpret the message we are receiving. The following article by John Harricharan explains how be can break through this often self imposed barrier.

The Secret - A Matter of Knowing That Already.
By John Harricharan

Motivation,Self Improvement,Relationships

When my son, Jonathan, was much younger, I would try to help him with some of his tasks, whether it was his homework, chores or even just plain, simple advice. Many a time he would look at me in exasperation and say, "I know that, dad." Even when he did solicit my help directly, he would listen, but not "hear" what I had to say.
Now, mind you, I do not claim to be a paragon of excellent advice or wisdom, but many of the things I told him would have saved him tremendous amounts of time, frustration and heartaches. As Jonathan grew older, he learned to listen a bit more, so instead of discounting most of what he heard, he would evaluate, weigh the merits or lack of, and then make choices based on what was consistent with his idea of right and wrong or good and bad.

The Universe speaks to us all the time. It doesn't always do it in ways that we expect. Sometimes a message comes from a friend and at other times, it may be someone we do not really care for who brings a very clear message to us. There are times when the messages are sent through dreams, or books, or radio, TV, the Internet and even the more prosaic form of the telephone.

If we close our minds and think that "we know that already," we may miss the one little point that could have saved us a lot of trouble. Keeping an open mind gives us an opportunity to evaluate the communications we receive and then make decisions based on our own true feelings.

The story is told about some scientists who went into an apple orchard to study apples. They were busy with their notepads and pencils, measuring the dimensions of the apples they found. They observed and noted the size, weight and colors of the fruit while off to their left sat one of their fellow scientists under a large apple tree. He was quietly eating an apple.

All the other scientists knew about apples. The one who was eating the apple knew "apples." Knowing about something does not necessarily mean knowing the thing. Knowing about God does not mean knowing God. Knowing about the secrets and laws of the Universe will not do us much good if there is not the deep knowing in our hearts and souls.

There have been hundreds of thousands of people who've read one or more of my books. Among the many wonderful email I receive would be one or two short, to the point comments saying something to the effect of, "I know all that already. I've been practicing all that stuff for years and so you haven't told me anything new."

My feeling is that there is really nothing new. As the Book of Ecclesiastes says, "There is nothing new under the sun." What I think is new is the interpretation we bring to things, the different way we look at the information we receive. We can choose to see if, perhaps, there are any gems in what we hear and see or any wisdom in what we read or listen to.

By opening up our minds to new possibilities, we may find that we are being led by that glorious, higher self within us to explore possibilities that have the potential to bring us peace, joy, wealth, success -- all good things.

If someone tells you that you shouldn't do something because it doesn't work, what that person is really saying is that it doesn't work for him. Listen to your heart, gather all the information and let the Universe show you how to make it work.

Jonathan listens a lot more these days. He reflects and thinks about what he hears, sees or reads. He is willing to listen to points of view that are totally different from his own without getting defensive as he used to. As a result, he has become more tolerant, more compassionate and, in many ways, more successful. He has grown into a fantastic young man who, I am sure, will bring much credit to all that he chooses to do.

Let us not be like the person in the little ditty who says:

"In matters controversial, my perception's really fine. I always see both points of view -- the one that's wrong and mine."

Let us, instead, listen to all that comes to our notice and after reflecting on it, exhibit the qualities of tolerance, peace, understanding and compassion. And as Commander Spock would say, "Live long and prosper."

Lecturer, entrepreneur and MBA business consultant, John Harricharan is the author of the award-winning book, "When You Can Walk on Water, Take the Boat." This idea was developed further by Dr. Robert K. Merton, a professor of sociology at Columbia University, who pointed out that even when the original belief is false, people make it come true.

We humans seem to prefer that other people behave as we expect them to, and we will modify or distort reality until it conforms to our expectations. And we can do this without even being aware we are doing it!

One of the most famous studies done on the SFP was published in a book called Pygmalion in the Classroom. If you remember your Greek mythology, Pygmalion was the sculptor who carved a statue of a beautiful woman, then fell in love with it. He believed so strongly that it could come to life, that it did! Hence, the SFP is also called “The Pygmalion Effect.”

A Harvard professor, Dr. Robert Rosenthal, collected the results of over 300 studies showing the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy in action. In classroom experiments, a group of children were divided into two classes. One class was given to a teacher who was told that the students were high achievers and should do well. The other teacher was told that her class was composed of underachievers who needed special help.

At the beginning of the school year there was no difference between the two groups of children in terms of ability. By the end of the school year the class that was labeled “high-achievers” was doing better than average work. The class that had been labeled as “underachievers” was doing below-average work.

Furthermore, a careful study revealed that children who made gains in the “high achiever” group were generally better liked by their teacher, but the children who made gains in the “underachiever” class were generally less liked by their teacher!

In summarizing this research, it can be said that people prefer people who live up to their expectations, and that people unconsciously create situations that encourage the expected behavior. If the expectations are positive, people (in this case, students) are encouraged to behave positively. If the expectations are negative, people (again, the children in the class) are encouraged to behave negatively.

There has been plenty of research that shows this Self-Fulfilling Prophecy effect in job situations. Since we do it so unconsciously, adults are no more immune to its effects than children are. Remember too that this effect usually occurs despite the fact that the person with the expectation is usually unconscious of the effect he/she is having.

For example: Dr. Albert King did a study with a number of welder trainees. All the trainees had scored approximately equal in aptitude testing before the training started.

However, their trainer was told that five of the men had shown high aptitude on their tests. (Remember, this was not true!) AT the end of the training course, these five men had an amazing record. They had been absent fewer times than the other men, they had learned the welding skills in half the time, and they scored ten points higher than the others in a comprehensive welding test given at the end of the course.

Furthermore, when the other trainees were asked to rate each other in terms of whom they most wanted to work with, each wanted most to work with one of the five “high aptitude” men.

Somehow, both the trainer and the other trainees had encouraged these five men to meet their expectation. They had created a true reality out of a false belief. In every possible way, without consciously meaning to do so, they gave the five trainees messages that said “Don’t worry; we know you’ll do well.”

With all that subliminal encouragement, it’s easy to understand why those five trainees developed a positive attitude towards themselves and their work.

In studying the Pygmalion effect close-up, we have found a number of ways in which these expectations are transmitted and encouraged to become reality:

1) Climate: The entire package of non-verbal signals encourages or discourages the worker. Think of how much a smile or a friendly tome of voice can mean to you.

2) Feedback: More positive responses encourage; more negative ones discourage. Even if a worker makes a mistake, you can respond in two ways. “Not again! You’d better learn to do it right” is very disheartening. “Not bad, but you might find it easier to try it this way instead” sounds helpful and encouraging.

3) Amount of input: If we have positive expectations about a worker, we tend to give that person more information to help them along. If we have negative expectations, we tend not to bother to give information.

4) Amount of output: We expect more work from a good worker than a poor one. Saying “Don’t bother to tackle that job; I know you’ll never do it right” discourages an employee from taking on any new responsibilities.

What you expect to come true is often what you make come true. You may have seen this in everyday life. We all know at least one pessimist who expects things to go badly, and is always complaining about the things that have gone badly. And we all know at least one optimist who expects good things to happen.

The optimist doesn’t dwell on the negative, but rather continues to work on the positive, making those good things happen more often.

It should be clear from this research that far more important than the skills you learn are the attitudes with which you apply those skills. You must look carefully at what you expect from the group you are working with. Of course, you need to develop realistic expectations. You cannot, for example, expect people to do a job in one day that logically requires a week to accomplish.

However, within these reasonable limits, the most important thing you can do to increase productivity is to expect the best of people. To expect that they will give you their best efforts. To expect that they will want to meet their goals. To expect that they would prefer to do a good job.

Whether you are unconscious of your expectations or not, those attitudes will influence how you treat everyone who works with you!

The best way to ensure that your influence if positive is to become conscious of your expectations and to develop them into positive feelings for all your workers.

The Spiritual Side of Water

Researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto believes that water takes on the energy around it. The following article from Spirit Daily discusses his work.

SCIENTIST CLAIMS THAT SPIRITUAL DIMENSION REFLECTED IN WATER CRYSTAL STRUCTUREWhat is it about water? The "living waters." The liquid of life.

The most pervasive single compound in and around us harbors many mysteries. Christ walked on it. Christ made wine from it. Christ was baptized with it -- as are we all. Might it be a portal to a spiritual dimension?

We know the power of Holy Water and now a researcher from Japan, Dr. Masaru Emoto, is presenting what he thinks is evidence that water not only has a spiritual dimension but reflects the world -- and spiritual forces -- around it.

An expert in alternative medicine, Dr. Emoto says that for years he has photographed water crystals and finds that they react to prayer, music, and even the ambience created by words. Fringe science or a legitimate avenue for new study?

"Crystals emerge for only twenty or thirty seconds as the temperature rises and the ice starts to melt," Dr. Emoto explains (in book called The Hidden Messages in Water). "This short window of time gives us a glimpse into a world that is indeed magical."

Dr. Emoto claims to have seen astounding results -- crystals that are beautifully formed when they have been in the presence of classical music -- or those praying [as at top, left] -- and malformed or unformed structures when tension was expressed in the room or there was heavy-metal music!

Is it New Age or proof that words and thoughts really do affect what is around us?

"I put fifty different types of water in fifty different Petri dishes I then freeze the dishes at minus-four Fahrenheit for three hours in a freezer," he says. "The result is that surface tensions forms drops of ice in the dishes about one millimeter across. The crystal appears when you shine a light on the crown of the drop of ice."

And therein came the alleged results.

Emoto -- who himself describes the experiments as seemingly "off-the-wall" -- claims that Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony resulted in "beautiful and well-formed crystals" and that the same was true of Mozart -- while rock jangled water as much as it jangles our ears.

Is he serious?

All matter, argues Emoto, is energy vibrating at the atomic level. It is at that threshold that there is the spiritual dimension, he asserts. Does our environment affect us far beyond the physical?

"All the classical music that we exposed the water to resulted in well-formed crystals with distinct characteristics," the Japanese researcher says. "In contrast, the water exposed to violent heavy-metal music resulted in fragmented and malformed crystals at best."

Might it also lend insight into how allegedly miraculous images form in ordinary objects?

The researcher asserts that hundreds have replicated his experiments and that the spirit behind positive words -- and gratitude -- evoke the most beautiful crystals. Meanwhile, physical factors such as pollution affect the water dramatically. Unformed or misshapen crystals were noted when water was exposed to cell phones, television, certain computer screens, and microwaves, he reports. Malformations were especially prominent in water that contained the toxic compound dioxin. The researcher claims that even small amounts of chlorine destroy the structures.

"The water of Tokyo was a disaster -- not a single complete crystal was formed," he writes. "However, within natural water, no matter where it came from -- natural springs, underground rivers, glaciers, and the upper reaches of rivers -- complete crystals formed."

"Learning about water is like an exploration to discover how the cosmos works, and the crystals revealed through water are like the portal of another dimension.

"And the more you understand water, the more difficult you will find it to deny the existence of a God."

At the left is a crystal from water taken at Lourdes. At right is one that formed as Gospel music was played. These beautiful, well-formed crystals are in stark contrast to those placed in the presence of hard rock music [below, left], or from municipal water systems [below, right, Venice].

"Perhaps it is possible that the miracle water of Lourdes, France, which is said to have healing powers, is filled with the feelings of appreciation of the Mother Mary," he says. "As a result, people who have been made ill by the vibrations of hate can be miraculously healed by drinking this Holy Water."

At Lourdes, one must add, the healing is through the intercession of the Blessed Mother. But we get the point: water from there is demonstrably extraordinary.

What might be seen in Holy Water -- or more dramatically, might there be the glimpse of eternity at some point during Consecration? Does this research lend new insight into the Catholic dogma of transubstantiation (at a molecular level)?

Or is it all so far out as to belie serious discussion? Again, New Age? Or is it that we know far less about what surrounds us than we like to think?

When water was exposed to words relating negativity -- such as "You fool!" or "You make me sick" -- the results were equally dramatic, Emoto says. When the word "angel" was introduced, the result was a vibrant and well-formed crystal while the name "Satan" produced a malformed crystal that looked like the eye of a reptile.

"This same principle also applies to objects and locations," he says. "For example, there are locations where accidents frequently happen, locations where businesses succeed, and locations that create happiness."

But reactions to words? Most powerful was the word, "Thank you" [left].

One problem: the researcher often relates to esoteric religions such as Buddhism, as well as Christianity. Is it also New Age?

Everything is linked, claims Dr. Emoto. And if nothing else, we think of the "living waters." Over and again, he found gratitude to be the emotion that evoked the most beautiful crystals.

"The Old Testament states, 'In the beginning there was the Word. This would mean that before the creation of the universe, there existed 'the Word.' My interpretation of this is that 'the Word' created human beings, and human beings then learned words from nature."

When people act out of their greed, they emit an energy that "serves to destroy the harmony within nature." Meanwhile, saying thank you has the opposite effect. At left is exposure to "thank you" in Japanese and at right in English. Gratitude resulted in the highest brilliance.

While some may say it is an interconnected "energy," others would argue that it is all coincidence. We submit it for your own purview. Whatever the case, energy is under the domain of the Holy Spirit and orchestrated by angels. When the word "angel" was spoken, we must note, there was a well-formed crystal, while the word "Satan" caused a malformed crystal to look like a reptilian or alien eye. When the words and feelings of "I will kill you" were conveyed, the water showed the silhouette of what looked like a violent man.

Let's say, at the least, that it didn't look like a snowflake.

"The vibration of good words has a positive effect on our world, whereas the vibration from negative words has the power to destroy," notes the scientist. Deliverance ministers tell us that negativity allows demons to attach to us. Does this research bear such out? And the concept of healing springs, of a 'green thumb," of positive thinking?

Emoto asserts that when exposed repeatedly to the words "thank you," rice fermented in a mellow fashion -- while rice exposed to the words "You fool" rotted and turned black.

Whether or not there is coincidence involved, that we can take as a little message.

The Power Behind Your Thoughts

Everything you've ever wanted in life is just a thought away. But you also have to support those thoughts with actions and an unwaivering faith regardless of the appearance of your current circumstances. In the following article, David Cameron exlpains how some well known influential people built empires using the power of thought.

The Most Powerful Force in the Universe
By David Cameron

Albert Einstein said that imagination is the greatest creative force in the universe. Why would such a great man say something that sounds so silly and trivial? Look at those words again: ‘greatest creative force’. Imagination? Not education? Nor money? Nor luck?

Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, said that imagination is the most marvelous, miraculous, inconceivably powerful force the world has ever known. Before you pass him away as a crackpot, know that Mr. Hill was an advisor to two U.S. presidents, was commissioned by the great and wealthy Andrew Carnegie to teach people about making their dreams come true, and has been thanked by many of the greatest people around the world for the success he helped them achieve.

People like F. W. Woolworth (founder of Woolworth’s), Woodrow Wilson (former U.S. President), George Eastman (founder of Kodak), W. M. Wrigley, JR. (Wrigley’s), and many others have used his teachings to manifest their dreams.

Imagination is the force that takes you to places you have never been.
Henry Ford relied on imagination and belief. Walt Disney said that had he not seen Disneyland in his mind, the rest of the world would not have seen it on earth. Bill Gates first imagines his products before they become actual software that we rely on. And it would serve you well to remember that many of the world’s greatest people started with nothing and built empires. They had a dream. And the universe conspired, as it always does, to let them experience their imagination.

The universe always lets you experience your imagination, whatever it may be.
The Bible says ‘As a man thinketh, so shall he become’. It also says ‘Without vision we perish’.

Your mind’s images are literally the blueprint from which your world is built.

Your mind is infinite. What are your limits? What are limits, except those that you say are so? Why else would two different people have different ‘limits’?

Life is images of the mind, expressed. What this means is that Life, The Source, uses your thoughts, your mental images, as the instructions by which to create your reality in the material world. Life expresses your mental images into physical reality.

To express is to make known, to state, articulate, communicate, convey. The force of Life makes known your thoughts to yourself and everyone else by forming them into experiences and objects that can be experienced, here in the physical world.

You experience your own thoughts first hand, your images of your mind, so that you may know which ones are suitable and which ones are not. That is how you know yourself, that is how you experience your self, and that is how you grow.

This is the supreme purpose of this physical world that we are now in. It is designed to enable you to experience your Self. It is designed to enable you to experience an idea and its effects and consequences.

Life does not select which ones of your images to express and which ones not to. How would it choose for you? It therefore expresses all of them to the extent that you have them and believe them. You have true free will.

This free will is truly free because of the fact that all of it is acted upon without filtering or favoring. Free will is truly free because of the fact that it actually gets results all the time, not just some of the time, and it gets them exactly.

Your ideas, visions and dreams, whatever they may be, are the prophecies of what you shall one day become and achieve. You can predict your outer life tomorrow by looking at your inner self today. You can change your tomorrow by changing your inner self today.

As you think, there do you find yourself. You attract the people that have something to teach you in line with your thoughts, people who have something to learn from you in line with your thoughts, and you repel those who have nothing more to learn from you and give you in line with your thoughts. The same goes for places and conditions, situations and environments.

Many things influence your imagination – past fears, desires, poor mental training, lack of awareness, sub-personalities, lack of goals – any much more. But anything that influences your imagination is under your control.

You can stop it simply by becoming aware of it and releasing it. And this is where awareness, consciousness, comes in as the key to clearing your mind of the debris that brings suffering to you and sabotages your success.

Why It's Important To Take Risks

Bob Proctor is gaining momentum in his quest to help people reach their goals. More people know who he is because is one of the teachers featured in The Secret. In the following article, he explains the power in taking risks.

Risk Will Set You Free
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face."

by Bob Proctor

My dictionary tells me that to risk is "to expose oneself to the chance of loss." I suppose that is true. Another piece of literature I was once given suggests that:

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams, before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.

You may avoid suffering and sorrow if you don't risk, but you simply cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, or live. The greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing and has nothing. Only a person who risks is free.

What causes individuals to shy away from taking a risk, even if it is a low risk and will give them something they really want? Well, certainly high on most people's list would be fear of loss, failure, and perceived humiliation if the loss were to occur. Now, why would we automatically think that we would fail at something? Why wouldn't we first try and see, and then if we did fail, learn from that experience and move on? What causes us to have these thoughts of inferiority?

Since risk-taking, to my knowledge, is not a subject that is taught in school, it would lead me to believe that a person's fear of taking risks might stem from before they can even remember. When you were a child taking your very first steps, it wasn't uncommon to hear one of your parents or guardians say, "Be careful; you might fall." Or, "Don't do that, you'll ..." Though some of this is rhetoric and you don't really pay it much conscious attention, it begins the pattern of playing it safe.

Think of how much better equipped we would be to face life's challenges and succeed if we had repeatedly heard, "Take a chance and don't worry about falling, because you're going to fall ... probably quite often. Falling is an important part of learning." Many of the greatest lessons you'll receive in life are going to come from falling ... from your failures.

Failing will never make you a failure unless you quit. Unfortunately, very few people heard that when they were small. The vast majority of our population has been mentally programmed to play it safe.

Young babies are natural-born risktakers. They never consider the consequences of falling when learning to walk. Falling is simply a natural consequence to learning to walk. I guess you could call it a calculated gamble; it's a prerequisite to mastering a myriad of motor skills required to get you on your feet and moving. It's a natural progression in movement. Why then, wouldn't we stop to consider that any movement into uncharted territory should be viewed with the same consideration? What happens to us?

Why is it that we do not see the process of reaching our goals as having steps similar to the ones the baby must take in order to learn to walk? There will be some stumbling and falling in the learning process, but success can be reached only when we are prepared to take those steps — all of them — even the ones where we may fall down. The real win is the confidence and experience we acquire that translates into new opportunities for growth, enjoyment, and expansion in all areas of our life.

When I was a youngster in school, I participated in track and field. Polevaulting was my specialty; it was the one event I seemed to excel at. I clearly remember knocking that bar flying more often than I cleared it. I also remember I was not very enthusiastic when that happened. Knocking the bar off left me with a feeling that because I had failed, I was a failure. I had failed, and, as I remember, no one advised me of anything different. In retrospect, it would have been an excellent opportunity for one of my teachers to help me understand one of life's greatest lessons. But, it never happened, and it would be many years before I learned the truth, the hard way.

While we're still on the topic of children, I'll throw up another caution flag. There's a four-letter word that most parents use around their children so frequently that the children pick it up and — before too long — it is buried in the treasury of their subconscious mind. That four-letter word is CAN'T. This word has done more damage than a lot of other frownedupon four-letter words put together. I know of some forward-thinking parents who have literally banned that word from their children's vocabulary!

Can't is a word that paralyzes any constructive progress. It switches your mind into a negative mode. It is a fourletter word that will open your mind to a never-ending flow of logical, practical reasons that will enable you to justify why you are not able to do something you sincerely want to accomplish.

The only alternative to that four-letter word is its polar opposite — I CAN. I can is far more important than IQ. You don't necessarily have to be very smart to win ... but you must be willing.

Reaching the goal is not success; success is moving toward the goal. When I was knocking down the cross bar, I was attempting to reach the goal. I was stretching, giving it everything I had. That could hardly be considered failing. Every time I tried to clear the bar, I was risking being ridiculed by the other kids. I risked having them laugh at me when I missed ... and they did laugh. However, every time I ran down the field and lowered the pole into the box, attempting to vault myself over the bar, I was challenging myself. Taking risks is essential when you want to reach a goal, and the purpose of goals is growth. When you challenge yourself, you bring more of yourself to the surface. If you knock the bar flying today, at least you will know you are challenging yourself; you're a success!

If you dream of living your life in a really big way, you must accept risktaking as a very real part of the apprenticeship you must serve. Make a decision right now to change. Decide this very moment there will be no more playing it safe ... no more "saving it for a rainy day" type thinking in your life. When people get caught up in the habit of saving for a rainy day, that is generally what they get ... a rainy day.

I clearly remember the first time I heard Earl Nightingale. Earl was telling a story about a farmer who was out walking in a field. He looked down and saw a tiny pumpkin growing on a vine. Nearby, he spotted a small glass jar. The farmer reached down and placed the tiny pumpkin inside the small jar. The pumpkin continued to grow until it filled the inside of the jar. Beyond that it could not grow.

There are a number of people like that tiny pumpkin. They limit themselves with artificial constraints and refuse to take a risk. They never truly test the strength of their abilities and they never step out and bet on the surest thing in the world ... themselves.

If you hope to accumulate great wealth or achieve high goals, history shows us that it's the first few steps that contain the highest degree of risk. You must turn your back on safety and security and take those steps. To make it big, you must take big risks. You will very likely have to put yourself in a highly vulnerable position. It is also worth remembering you cannot almost take a risk.

Eleanor Roosevelt said, "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face." Follow her advice and liberate yourself from the crippling emotional state of fear — and enter into a world of freedom.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Booster Shot of Confidence

The movie The Secret teaches us that our thoughts create our reality. Our feelings bring strength to our thoughts. It is important to really feel the emotion of having already achieved the desired goal. Bob Proctor, a teacher featured in The Secret gives some helpful advice on maintaining a positive vibration in order to creat the life you want.

Create That Winning Feeling
by Bob Proctor
Insights to Success
Brought to you by the faculty of TSTN – The Success Training Network.

I believe we would all agree that having a winning feeling is prerequisite to achieving outstanding results. A person can’t possibly expect to win if they’re constantly focusing on failure! The real secret here is to capture that winning feeling of success as often as you can to create the environment necessary to succeed.

If you’ve been a little down in the dumps, feeling insecure or perhaps not feeling as confident in your ability as you’d like, I have a great tip for you. My suggestion to anyone looking for a success track to run on, or to a person who is looking to get back on one, is to start capitalizing on short-term victories. That means specifically focus on tasks you can achieve daily. The principle is to start with an adversity over which you can succeed, and gradually take on more and more difficult tasks. Nothing succeeds like success.

Another technique used by many people in developing or maintaining a winning feeling is what we call the reflection method. Think back during a time where you were really successful at something… we all have times to which we can relate. It could have been a sale, a particular speech, a school play, or standing up to the town bully. Each one of us can reflect back on a moment in time to recapture that winning feeling.

Professional sports coaches often replay winning games of the past for their team prior to a big game to stimulate and create a winning feeling!

Years ago, a good friend of mine had left his job and a company that he had worked with for many years. He was one of the top VPs with his company and had done extremely well. He had left because he wanted to start his own business. I told him he could use one of our offices until such time as he was ready to open up his own office.

In any event, I happened to be in the office one afternoon and Grant, who normally was very upbeat and positive, was really having a difficult time. After a few moments of small talk, it became apparent what the problem was. Grant had hit the terror barrier and the possibility of starting his own company was overwhelming him… he just didn’t think he could do it. Here’s a man who had risen to the top of his field, made a high six-figure income for years… and yet was still having doubts as to his ability to start his own company.

I asked Grant to go home, get a notebook and start to write down all of his accomplishments, as far back as he could remember. The look on his face was priceless – I’m sure he thought I’d lost my mind. I told him that the accomplishment could be small or large… it didn’t really matter. The point was to focus on something positive. I still remember him asking, “Well, what if I only fill half a page.” I just smiled and asked him to do his best and start writing.

Monday morning came and Grant was back in the office with a notebook full of accomplishments. I smiled and said, “You must have been fairly confident, you picked up a good sized notebook!” We both had a good laugh. Grant went on to build a multi-million dollar financial planning company and later franchised the operation to extend across Canada and the US!

This is a great exercise for anyone needing a bit of a boost. What would give you a winning feeling of pride and satisfaction? Remember… a winning feeling is a confident feeling and one that forgets misses, and reinforces successful attempts.

Manifestation Through Meditation

The Silva Ultramind System can help you increase your intuition through meditation and training yourself to go to the alpha and theta brainwave level. How would you get points of reference on when someone is ready to close?

You could go to level, go back over sales that you have made, and follow that person and see when it was that they were ready to say "Yes." That is a point of reference for you.

Feel it. Feel what it felt like to sit there. Listen to what they were saying, and what the meaning was behind the words. Replay it, and make that point of reference yours.

Then recall another sale when somebody bought from you, and make that a point of reference.

Everyone wants to know, "How do I handle objections?"

Your job is to find out what they want, and to find out how your product can help them attain it.

So when somebody comes up with an objection, what is the first thing you would do, as a Silva grad?

Go to level, take a deep breath, and mentally ask them, "What's your real objection?"

Using the Silva techniques while you are on your feet is very simple.

If you were sitting in front of someone and they started having a chest pain, what is the first you would do, as a Silva grad?

You'd go to level.

So, there's no difference at all. In fact it is easier.

Which is easier, to talk to someone ahead of time, when all you have is their name, and mentally ask them what they want in life; or changing the very structure of a heart valve when you work a health case?

Use the tools that you have.

If I am going to go talk to a group of people that I don't know, I try to get points of reference. Where is the building where you will be making the presentation? Look it up on the map. Go visit the building. Get some points of reference. Who are these people? What are their names? At least get the name of the company.

If you know where the building is, then you can go see what kind of people go in there every day.

The night before a big talk, you can program yourself to wake up automatically at the exact time when most of those people are going to be the most receptive. Then program them. And program yourself.

Then when you walk into the room, make your talk a needs-based talk. In fact, it would be great to make your life a needs-based life, so that you can leave this a better world, as Jose Silva says.

If you really care about the people that you do business with, it shows.

Dealing with fear

Gain confidence by recalling the benefits that people receive

Some people are afraid to go see the big clients, or to go see a lot of clients.

It is okay to admit that you are afraid. That's why we have the blue framed mirror.

The first question, at level, is: What is it that I am afraid of?

Let's say that you do not like making cold calls on the telephone. If you don't know why, then enter your level, mentally picture yourself calling someone; see what happens, what the response is, and what you might be afraid of.

Perhaps you don't want to bother people, because you know that they are busy. You want to be liked, and therefore you don't want to bother them because they are busy.

If this is the case, then go to level and check, What are the reasons that someone would want to talk to you, and What are the reasons that they would like you. Instead of worrying about yourself, concentrate on why they would want to talk with you. Instead of focusing on yourself, focus on your client.

Maybe you are afraid that they will say No because of lack of money.

Enter your level and ask yourself, How many of the people that you are going to talk to can really buy your product? Ask yourself why they would buy your product. Come up with several good reasons.

Perhaps you are afraid of being rejected.

Go to your level and think about whether they are rejecting you, or rejecting the product. Don't make yourself the issue. You are not the issue. As long as you are concentrating on them and their needs and what you can help them get out of their lives, you are not the issue. If they say "No" to getting more out of their lives and what they want in their life, then you might want to look and see whether you want to put that option in front of them so they can see it.

When you enter your level yourself, and you ask questions like these, then you will come up with the answers that are right for you. This is one of the greatest things that Jose Silva discovered in his research:

Nobody else can do it for you as well as you can do it for yourself. No hypnotist. No sales manager. No psychologist. Nobody can help you, as effectively or as quickly as you can help yourself.

So enter your level on your own, ask the questions yourself, and you will get the information that you need to solve your problems.

Finding the right job

Combine your insight with your tutor's help and you'll succeed

In order to find the position that is right for you, you might choose to use the creative and intuitive insights that are available to you at the alpha level and discover what it is that you need around the job.

It is also important to call on higher intelligence, which you can do with the MentalVideo technique, and obtain guidance and insight about what is best for you to do.

First, use your intuition and the creative insight you obtain at the alpha level to figure out what you think is best for you.

What are your needs? Not just money, but what are you looking for in a job?

Do you want to prove something to yourself?

Do you want to acquire some knowledge?

Do you want to look at yourself in a different way?

Find out what your deep emotional needs are that you desire. Find out what you want out of a job, and what would feed you.

After you identify that, and make your "beta" MentalVideo, then, at your level when you are ready to go to sleep, make a second MentalVideo so that your tutor can guide you to a job that is perfect for you.

Work yourself as a case and find out what you needs are. Identify them, then include that information in your MentalVideo to help your tutor help you.

Determining the best prospect to call

Use points of reference to help you achieve your next success

Suppose you have a list of names of people to call to see if they are interested in your product. You'd like to call the ones who have the greatest need for you product first, and call the others later, wouldn't you? Here is a way that you can you develop your intuition so that you can sense which ones have the greatest need for your product, and are the most likely to buy:

Go back over your old list and find people who bought. Look at that list and find out what points of reference you have about people who are qualified and who buy.

In the Silva training, Jose Silva has you project into metals and leaves and other things in order to get points of reference to answer questions. One of the things you need in your business is points of reference about who is qualified, who can buy, who can't buy.

You get those points of reference from the past, from previous sales. You keep adding to your points of reference. Go back and work a health case on everybody who has bought from you.

Then those points of reference that you have established will guide you to intuitively choose the people who have similar characteristics, who are most likely to need your product.

Now, if you have a list of ten people to call this morning, then first sit down and work a health case on everybody on the list. Then, after you finish with each health case, go back and ask them mentally, "What do you want out of life? How can I help you get what you want out of life?"

Then when you call one of those people, they will feel on a deep level that you care about them.

Has this Lesson Utilizing Your ESP Helped You?
Now you can advance your ESP abilities with the next level in Mind Training - Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing.
